Socially Psyched is a social network for people working in, or just interested in the fields of psychology. It is our aim to provide a safe and active community for users who share specific interests in the multiple fields of psychology.

We decided to establish this website due to the growing demand for an online social community aimed specifically at psychologists, psychology students and those working in, or affected by mental health issues. Currently, we are the only psychology specific social network online and aim to develope this site over the coming months.

We are running in conjunction with our sister site, Clinically Psyched, which continues to be the top clinical psychology news website online. While Clinically Psyched did offer a social medium, this was continuously marred by users unethically spamming the resource. As such, we have decided to move all of our social based activity to this website.

Socially Psyched, and its sister site, Clinically Psyched, are run without funding from any external organizations. As such, our resources are limited. We have included a donation field for any users who may wish to contribute to the running and overheads we occur in providing our services.

We would like to welcome new users and hope that this community grows.
